A former educator, I understand the complexity of the bureaucratic process of secondary and post-secondary education systems. That is why I am surprised and very excited at the speed Pathbrite is taken through the education system and slugging home runs. I want to say that they had just their official product launch in April 2012 and was a finalist in the challenge of Innovation of the Council national Education Nation in October 2012, which pales compared with the recent contractual partnerships that they form with the pillars of education.

The last announcement of Pathbrite is their agreement with the largest educational publisher in the world, McGraw-Hill. This partnership is crucial to break the blockade for a long time that universities with data on students. The two companies are in the early stages of the integration platform of next-generation digital portfolio of Pathbrite with McGraw-Hill Campus ™, which will benefit students and teachers.

McGraw-Hill Campus is renowned for its course integration system that allows University Faculty access to all major educational content and technology of McGraw-Hill Education right own the institution learning management system. After full integration of both products, McGraw-Hill will provide easy access to new generation digital portfolio of Pathbrite to serve the students and teachers as well.

"Many colleges and universities today face huge challenges when it comes to admissions, compliance and job placement assistance," said Tom Malek, vice president of Learning Solutions and Services for McGraw-Hill higher education. "Our partnership with Pathbrite will provide the institutions to tackle these important issues, while helping institutions improve digital literacy of their students efficiently and affordably."

Pathbrite technology provides a smarter, more flexible, and Web 2.0 how to access learning students and showcase their skills for the jobs. In addition, Pathbrite is for students to collect, organize and share the entire collection of their learning and achievements of technical way without fault.

Portfolio Web 2.0 Pathbrite demonstrate the cognition and knowledge traditional bubble test is useful. Data have shown that portfolios help with student reflection, speed of movement of course and the skills of critical thinking, among many other benefits. Best of all, students preparing to enter active life can now share their portfolios with potential employers as proof of their work product, presentations, writing samples and internships.

Pathbrite is currently testing its platform portfolio based on a cloud in the colleges and universities across the country, including: DePaul University, Stanford University, The Ohio State University, UC Santa Cruz, University of Illinois, the University of Miami, University of Texas at Tyler, Community College of Baltimore County, San Jose State University and many others.

Features included as part of the Pathbrite platform make social learning and the assessment basis for the user experience. Private sharing, reviews, comments, post on Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn and its scheduling features of upcoming courses for the University Pathbrite focuses on reinvigorating the use portfolios as an educational experience of base.

However, they are not made with helping to forge a better future for post-secondary education. Pathbrite is an innovative agreement with ACT (American College Test) that will allow them to do something that even the Organization of the law is unable to do. Pathbrite will be the providers of first and only the authenticated Act electronic test scores. With an extra single life, users will now be able to get copies authenticated their exams notes to share with the universities and employers. Heather says they have some partnerships more that they put the finishing touches, including integration with the main universities deliver secure authenticated copies of the transcripts.

Heather and her team are the champions of the liberation movement of data between the colleges and the universities. As Heather mentioned in his speech last year to SXSWedu, it's time for the "release of the data. Instead of schools with a data to the students, the students begin to decide when, where and how they want to share their own data. In a world of post-secondary education to the selfish bureaucracies, Pathbrite did what many were able to do in the past. I can honestly say, the future of technology in education adaptation now seems very bright with active companies, pioneers like Pathbrite paves the way.
