Try as it might, Apple can't stop millions of iPhone owners from downloading a Google-made app.

Apple this week released its "iTunes Best of 2012" list to highlight the most popular apps for its smartphones and tablets.

It turns out when Apple took YouTube off the list of apps that came preloaded on iPhones in September, users weren't dissuaded from downloading on their own the video-watching program made by Apple's fierce mobile rival. The YouTube app, released ahead of the launch of iOS 6 in September, was named the top free app for iPhones in 2012.

What else made the list of the top free iPhone apps of the past 12 months? Apps to help you keep in touch with friends, take fancy pictures, run away from monkeys and more. As a lotion connoisseur, I’ve tried everything before – from the glittery Disney princess lotions from my childhood to the “imported” lotions that I filched from my grandmother’s dresser years later. Despite all my trial and error, I still haven’t committed to a moisturizer – and I have dozens of half-used containers to prove it.

Nonetheless, I decided to go to the event because the name “Hydra IQ” caught my eye on the invitation. I’ve heard plenty of fancy names for beauty products, but I never heard of one referring to its intelligence, so when I saw “IQ” attached to the word “Hydra,” I was curious. Did “IQ” imply that these products are smarter than others? I wondered. But once I saw that Nivea was offering complimentary manicures, I was sold on attending. I figured that pretty nails would console me even if the products turned out to be a disappointment.

Nivea’s Hydra IQ technology claims to penetrate the skin’s layers for even protection and promises to hydrate the skin for more than 24 hours by maintaining the skin’s moisture level. The skin care launch includes four brand-new products, and the ingredients are also included in some of Nivea’s older skin care standbys. I tried three of its brand-new products in total, using at least one daily for two weeks.

I tend to slack off with the lotion when the weather gets warm because I hate when my skin feels greasy and sticky. But because of Nivea’s Express Hydration Freshening Gel, I don’t have that excuse anymore. It was by far my favorite Hydra IQ product because it’s made for the summer! Not only does it absorb quickly (less than two minutes), but its water-based formula makes it very lightweight. Plus, it contains mint extract, which gives your skin a cooling sensation.

I wasn’t as thrilled about Nivea’s Express Hydration Daily Lotion. Sure it kept its promise – the lotion was fast-absorbing and it did last 24 hours – but there are dozens of drugstore lotions that do the same thing for less than $8.99.

Out of the three Hydra IQ products I tried, Nivea’s Touch of Cashmere Body Wash was the only one I really didn’t like. The warm scent was too overpowering, and I expected it to be more moisturizing – especially since the body wash left a slippery residue.

Nivea’s Hydra IQ technology did deliver results, but don’t purchase the entire line if you’re on a budget. The Express Hydrating Freshening Gel was the only product that was worth the fancy moniker, especially with summer heat waves and humidity levels ahead.

Travellers without travel insurance-have a safe journey

Leaving abroad for a holiday is a dream for many of us. We plan our summer vacation and months earlier. Can we save money on travel time, we Cut a lot of corners, we can cut the expenditure in the year, we need to learn all the necessary information about the hotel and the surrounding area for research.
We buy our clothes and our basic needs worked, including Sun cream, swimwear, eyewear, sleepers, cameras, music, books, money, evening wear, hats, Visa, valid passports and other travel documents and medication. On the day before you travel to us, see our list of check to make sure that we have everything we need. When we reach the airport check in, please place the window. During the flight we go through everything again, to see if we have missed anything, and then we can relax, as now we also make sure we have everything we need. Although, paradoxically, we have everything we need, we do not have travel insurance.
Why have travel insurance? We will be only for a few weeks! What happen in just two weeks? Why spend additional £ 20 to £ 30 pounds on each ticket? Two weeks will go just like that of the Sun, water and fun. But not! Mr. h will not travel without travel insurance!
When we reached our destination, we can already settled in our hotel, we will use the food, the weather, swimming pool, Sea, cultural programmes in the evening, dance, snooker, cinema screens, large, and our second day we do the same again.
Our third day we do the same again. It is now more like routine and nature are we getting bored with do the same. We will plan something different for the fourth day, something more adventure, something unusual. How about desert safari? Leave early morning in the jeep. Fun for half a day and return to the dinner time. We are planning a safari to the front of the day and we need to pay upfront fees.
Yes, on the fourth day, we wake up early, we can Dress according to the voyage; We put our glasses, scarves, we can be a lot of sand, so we can cover Our faces. We have our breakfast early, we choose to light as we can feel sick on the journey otherwise.

Our journey took us to the Yorkshire Dales, in the place called Asenby, near Thirsk. What a great site, welcomes you in a delightful brothel with thatched roof and lots of weird and wonderful objects strategically placed on and around it. After all it was the crab & lobster so the crab and lobster is what we saw. Is the type of site you see in your life where you're wondering if you're still deep in a dream or some kind of medication. It is also known as a fish restaurant, but on this occasion we are attached to the lamb. The next time. All the staff were keen to make sure our evening was superb and we could not fault any of it. There was not one single solitary negative comment that we could think of.
Our night was wonderful in my Royal Crown and when morning comes we received once again to a restaurant for breakfast. This time it was in the Conservatory. Once again, I can only say, that will have to go and experience design, and what can I say only unreliable. For breakfast we can fish, which was the most enormous plates enough toast and tea, juice and coffee as you can drink.
Not I had from my experience at the crab & lobster finish it was the residence of the fairy tale.
All was not over as the day before and asked if they could look at other facilities, as well as the log cabins on the basis of all in different places in the world as their theme. Not only were we can see around, but by the General Manager and kindest man. It took us to each room and explained the scenery. He evicted us many times and we appreciated the tour immensely.
If you can go and experience what we've taken, and then will be the most fantastic weekend break, a vacation or a wedding, whether book, ever, will have to be without a long journey to get there.
