Earlier today, I wrote about how the vine, a new video, Twitter photo sharing, was garnering its fair share of controversy due to an avalanche of pornographic videos which have been in service. In its current form, the vine is a one iOS application that has led many to wonder how Apple would handle things in light of their stricter position report pornography screws compared to Google.
Back in 2010 for example, Steve Jobs said that Apple has a "moral responsibility to keep the iPhone porn," adding that "folks who want porn can buy an Android phone.
Obviously, so Apple does when it comes to adult content, and it is certainly no shortage of applications that were denied entry to the app store because tangential same adult content.
Recently, Apple has removed an application called 500px because it was easy enough for users to navigate around and find nude pictures of popular photo sharing.
EH well since my first post this morning, just arrived.
First of all, the vine has already begun censoring certain hashtags, including #porn, #boobs and #sex. Of course, users have already started to come up with solutions to download to find adult content, but its remarkable that Twitter takes steps to make the application more family friendly than before.
And the end of Apple, the company has already removed the 'Editor's choice' tag that he had previously draped on the vine. We will see if it is good enough to keep the vine in the app store as a result of the removal of 500px.
